Division 13 Special Construction

Division 13-1 X-Ray Radiation Protection

1.	Coordinate with the University's Office of Radiation Safety via the project manager.
2.	Review with the project manager inspection requirements and testing.

Division 13-2 Highly Toxic Gases

1.	Facilities that handle highly toxic gases (e.g. silane, hydrogen cyanide, etc.) may require special design considerations, such as increased exhaust ventilation capacity. Coordinate with project manager and EH&S for special construction requirements.

Division 13-3 Food Facilities

1.	Facilities in which food will be stored, prepared or otherwise handled will require design considerations and construction plans will need to be approved by the Campus Registered Environmental Health Specialist. Coordinate with project manager for EH&S design requirements and approvals.
