A few words about us.....
In general, Project Management (PM) coordinates all activities
related to the development of capital projects involving campus groups,
building and program committees; architects, engineers and related
professional services; and the many and various construction contractors.
Following are some of the areas of overall project management:
- advise and confer with other campus clients and provide architectural,
engineering, and landscape architectural advice to other campus units
- provide professional consultation for contextual design solutions
- develop and manage budgets, estimates, and schedules
- coordinate architect and other professional selections
- guide architects and other professionals activities
- guide and provide professional liaison with review groups
- coordinate all plan reviews and approvals
- ensure code compliance of designs
- guide contractor pre-qualification selection
- plan for and ensure campus notification at all stages
- provide general project oversight during construction
- provide and review historic documentation
- activate project closeout and turnover .... contractor to campus
