Recharge Rate Information

Real Estate Services (RES) provides mandated recharge services pertaining to property leases, property management, facility use and filming activity on the Berkeley campus.  The recharge rate for all services provided by RES is $66.00 per hour . Current rates  apply to services provided on all projects after 1 June 2006.  Those services include new real estate projects, continuing real estate projects, support for existing leases and facility use permit review and processing.

In July 2006, RES began monthly recharge billing for all services based on actual time worked during the month and now bills clients after the end of each service month.  Monthly billing statements are e-mailed to the client at the time of billing.  Clients will see on their ledgers under "description" one of the following:

• lsm: <property address>
• fup: <facility use permit location/event>
