News:  Effective 6 November 2006, Robert Hatheway fulfilled the new position of Assistant Vice Chancellor - Real Estate Services within Facilities Services. The AVC will have overall responsibility for directing the campus's program to optimize the use of the University's real estate assets from the perspective of The Regents as landlord and tenant. The AVC is also responsible for planning the strategic acquisition of property and developing the use of owned property.

Effective 1 November 2003, the Real Estate Services Office became part of a new organization on campus known as Facilities Services under the direction of Vice Chancellor Edward Denton.
